May 12th, 2012 - On Saturday evening Asplin entered the John Kuntz Memorial at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri). Twenty-eight cars entered the event, which was co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA and MARS Super Late Model tours. In his heat race Asplin started third and looked to be on his way to a second place finish before a flat tire with two laps remaining forced him pitside. As a result, he started at the back of a b-main, and failed to reach a transfer spot, which resulted in him taking a provisional for the $3,000-to-win feature. May 11th, 2012 - Friday night was a great outing for Justin and the team as they traveled to Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) for a $2,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series event at the 1/2 mile oval. After advancing from the fifth starting spot to a second place finish in his heat race Asplin earned the third starting spot for the 30 lap feature. He would battle in the top five for the duration of the feature before ultimately crossing the finish line in second behind race winner, Jesse Stovall. The finish marked the best of the 2012 campaign and the best of his career with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). Full results are available at www.COMPDirt.com.
April 25th, 2012 - Justin has seen another weekend of racing nixed by Mother Nature as an unfavorable forecast has forced the postponement of the Sunflower Showdown at the Great American Dirt Track (Jetmore, Kansas) that was scheduled for Friday and Saturday. In addition, the MARS event slated for Sunday night at Beaver County Speedway (Beaver, Oklahoma) has been postponed.
April 20th, 2012 - For the second straight week the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) has fallen victim to rain at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois). Officials are currently seeking a potential reschedule date.
April 14th, 2012 - Saturday evening saw Justin traveling to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for a $3,000-to-win, Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series event. With 28 cars on hand the program was held on an extremely rough track that was caused by heavy rains earlier in the day. Asplin would again find himself starting on the back of a heat after a large number at the pill draw. He would advance a few spots, which left him short of a transfer to the feature, but earned him the third starting spot for a b-main. He would jump to the lead early in the b-main, and would lead much of the race before Will Vaught took over the top spot late in the race. Justin went on to finish in the second spot, which earned him the 20th starting spot for the feature. April 13th, 2012 - On Friday night the team traveled to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) event at the 3/8 mile oval. Twenty-nine cars were on hand, and after drawing a large number at registration, he would start at the back of the heat race grid. On a track, where passing was difficult, he would fall just short of transferring to the feature via time trials and b-main action as his night came to an early end. April 6th, 2012 - Justin made his first trip of the season to Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) on Friday night for the inaugural Charlie Fulton Memorial, which posted a $5,555-to-win purse for the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) sanctioned event. With a strong field of 36 competitors entered Justin would fall just short of locking into the feature via heat race action, which relegated him to a b-main. He would charge to the second, b-main win, which locked him into the 18th starting spot on the grid for the 55 lap feature. March 24th, 2012 - Justin returned to action at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) on Saturday night with a $3,000-to-win event, which was co-sanctioned by the MARS and Lucas Oil MLRA Super Late Model tours. Thirty-seven Super Late Models entered the event, and a third place finish in his heat race left him just short of locking into the main event. As a result, he was forced to run a b-main, where he finished in the second position to transfer to the feature. In the main event, Justin advanced eight spots to finish in the eleventh position. March 17th, 2012 - The team made the last minute decision to travel to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for the first time over the weekend as they entered the 2nd Annual Pelican 100 at the racy, 1/4 mile oval. Twenty-six cars entered the event, and in Friday night's qualifications things would start slowly as Justin struggled to only the 23rd fastest lap, which left him starting eighth in the second heat race. He would race his way forward three spots on his way to a fifth place finish, but with only the top four cars moving onto the feature he had to run a b-main on Saturday night.
In Saturday night's b-main Justin recorded a third place finish to lock into the main event in the 15th starting spot for the $10,000-to-win, 100 lap finale. During the course of the feature he would race his way to as high as the ninth position before ultimately recording a season-best tenth place finish at the checkered flag. March 10th, 2012 - Saturday afternoon found Justin in action at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) in the Turkey Classic, which saw 28 Super Late Models register for the $2,000-to-win event. In his heat Justin would start third, but would cut a tire, which sent him pitside. Via his heat race difficulties Asplin started sixth in a b-main, and with one-lane track conditions in effect he would be unable to reach a transfer spot. March 3rd, 2012 - The second and final round of the 8th Annual Toilet Bowl was held on Saturday night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee). Thirty-five cars were on hand for the $5,000-to-win event, which was sanctioned by the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) tour. Difficulties in qualifications left Justin starting eighth on the grid for his heat race. He would pass two cars on his way to a sixth place finish, but with only the top four cars moving onto the main event, he was forced to run a b-main. Asplin would fade to a seventh place finish in the b-main, which left him short of a transfer to the feature, and brought his night to an early end. March 2nd, 2012 - Justin entered the 2012 season opener for the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) tour on Friday night in the first leg of the 8th Annual Toilet Bowl at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee). Thirty Super Late Models registered for action in the $3,000-to-win event under threatening skies. After starting third in his heat race Asplin finished in the fifth position, which locked him into the fifteenth starting spot for the feature. He would go on to record an eighteenth place finish. January 21st, 2012 - On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon Round #5 of the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout was held, and Justin finished deep in his heat, which left him slated to start at the back of a b-main. January 20th, 2012 - The fourth event of the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout was held on Friday night at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) as 64 cars registered for battle. After advancing from the fifth starting spot to the fourth position in his heat race, Asplin started sixth in his b-main, but would ultimately retire with an ill-handling car to a 15th place finish, ending his night. January 18th, 2012 - The third leg of the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout was held on Wednesday night at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona), and Justin would again draw a large number at the pill draw causing him to start in the eighth position. He would manage to advance to a fifth place finish in his heat, which positioned him starting fourth in his b-main. January 15th, 2012 - The team entered the second round of the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Sunday afternoon, which was highlighted by a $5,000-to-win, 30 lap event. Sixty-eight Super Late Models entered the program, and after receiving the ninth starting spot for his heat, he advanced to a seventh place finish, which left Asplin starting eleventh on the grid for a b-main. January 14th, 2012 - Justin kicked off his 2012 season on Saturday afternoon with the opener for the 6th Annual Wild West Shootout at USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona). Asplin made his debut at the 4/10 mile oval as a talent-laden field of 69 competitors took part in the event. After drawing the fifth starting spot for his heat race, Asplin recorded a fifth place finish, which relegated him to a b-main, where he started in the ninth position. October 15th, 2011 - Justin entered his final two events of the 2011 season over the weekend as he took part in the 22nd Annual Lucas Oil MLRA Fall Nationals at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri). On Friday night a $2,000-to-win program was contested, and after falling short of accumulating enough points via heat race action to lock into the feature, Asplin finished fourth in his b-main to earn the 20th starting spot. He would go on to record an 18th place finish.
On Saturday evening, a $3,000-to-win event was held, and again he would fail to transfer to the feature via heat race action. A fifth place finish in the b-main resulted in the 22nd starting spot for the main event, and for the second straight night he would record an 18th place finish in the final rundown. October 7th, 2011 - After a rough outing on Thursday night, Justin was seeking better luck on Friday night for the second leg of the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series doubleheader at Heartland Raceway Park (Topeka, Kansas), which posted a $3,500 winner's check. The program began well for Asplin as he finished third in his heat race to move onto the feature. October 6th, 2011 - Thursday night found Justin in action in the first night of the doubleheader for the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series at Heartland Raceway Park (Topeka, Kansas). Justin started the night by finishing fourth in his heat race to earn the eleventh starting spot for his main event. October 1st, 2011 - Justin went into battle in the Larry Phillips Memorial on Saturday night at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri). The event, which was co-sanctioned by the MARS Dirt Car Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series saw a solid field of 39 Super Late Models enter the event. Justin would start the night by winning his heat race to lock into sixth starting spot for the $3,000-to-win feature. Unfortunately after over-tightening the race for the feature he would find himself sliding backwards to a 14th place finish at the checkered flag. September 24th, 2011 - Saturday night once again found Justin in action in a MARS/NCRA Super Late Model co-sanctioned event on the 1/2 mile oval at Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma). Twenty-four cars entered the program, and Asplin began the night by finishing fourth in his heat race to lock into the feature. September 23rd, 2011 - On Friday night Justin traveled to Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) for the first night of a MARS/NCRA doubleheader at the 1/2 mile oval. Thirty Super Late Models entered the event, and in heat race action Asplin finished third to earn the 11th starting spot for the feature. The main event would see Asplin advance seven spots on his way to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Will Vaught, Brad Looney, and Jesse Stovall. September 17th, 2011 - The Larry Phillips Memorial at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri), which was to be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil MLRA and MARS Super Late Model tour, fell victim to rain and has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 1st.
September 10th, 2011 - The team traveled to Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) over the weekend for the 1st Annual Rockabilly 45. The $5,000-to-win event saw double heat races contested on Friday night, and struggles in the heat race would leave him starting second in a b-main on Saturday night. With the top three cars in the b-main moving on to the main event, Asplin would slip to a fifth place finish bringing his weekend to an early end. September 4th, 2011 - Justin entered a single event over the weekend as he took part in the 40th Annual Four State Dirt Track Championship at Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri). Thirty-five cars entered the event, and after recording a fourth place finish in his heat race, Justin fell just short of locking into the feature, and would be forced to run a b-main, which he won to lock into the 18th starting spot for the main event in the 23 car field. August 26th, 2011 - On Saturday the team entered the final MARS/UMP DIRTCar event of the weekend as once again a $5,000-to-win event was on tap with the action position at I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Missouri). Thirty-six entries were on hand, and after struggling in time trials, Asplin would start at the rear of his heat race and would only be able to manage an eighth place finish, which left him starting deep in a b-main. August 26th, 2011 - Friday night found Justin in action once again in a $5,000-to-win, MARS/UMP DIRTCar Super Late Model Challenge event as the miniseries rolled into Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky). A talent-laden field of 36 Super Late Models signed in for action on the lightning-fast, 1/2 mile oval, and time trial action would see Asplin managing only the seventh best time in his group, which left him starting seventh on the grid for his heat race.

August 25th, 2011 - Justin opened his triple header weekend on Thursday night at Highland Speedway (Highland, Illinois) with a $5,000-to-win, MARS Vs. UMP DIRTCar event. August 21st, 2011 - After seeing Saturday night's, Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series event at Thunderhill Speedway (Mayetta, Kansas) nixed by rain, the team entered a single event over the weekend as they traveled to State Fair Speedway (Sedalia, Missouri) for a $3,000-to-win event.

August 13th, 2011 - Justin Asplin Motorsports entered a single event over the weekend as the team entered a $3,000-to-win, COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Vs. Mid America Racing Series (MARS) Super Late Model event at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri). A solid field of 33 Super Late Models entered the event, and heat race action would see Asplin short of making the cut for the feature. However, he would record a second place finish in his b-main to earn the 17th starting spot for the 40 lap feature.

August 6th, 2011 - After seeing Friday night's Larry Phillips Memorial at Lebanon/Midway Speedway (Lebanon, Missouri) rained out, Justin entered a single event over the weekend at Tri City Speedway (Pontoon Beach, Illinois) on Saturday night. With twenty Super Late Models entered into the program Justin would finish seventh in his heat, which left him starting 21st in the $3,000-to-win feature.
